Medical Coder/Biller!

Currently code for 7 orthopedic surgeons, apply correct CPT/ICD-9 codes to surgical procedures, review to make sure authorizations, demographics, patient insurance is correct. Post encounter forms into computer for submission to insurance for orthopedic and our Physical Therapy Clinic. Other job duties include demographics, process adjustments, and refunds, assisting other billing personnel with appeals and claims adjudication. Front desk, appointments, authorizations, billing, collections, daily deposits, posting of all insurance payments, and co-payments. Requirements:A.ICD-9 coding applications

D.Knowledgeable of Anatomy and PhysiologyE.Knowledgeable of Medical Terminology F.Keyboarding 45-50 words per minute
